Historical Tokyo Tour (Self guided tour)
The Hongo campus of the University of Tokyo has a long and moved history since the foundation of the University in 1877. On the campus every single building tells the story of its respective times: from the famous Red Gate, dating back from the feudal period, over the Chemistry building built in 1916, to Tadao Ando's Fukutake Hall of 2008. Please take yourself time and enjoy a self guided tour. Explore the Hongo campus and its vicinity and undertake a time travel through Tokyo's built history. There are also narrative essays https://best-writing-service.com/personal-narrative-essay that describe it. A detailed architectural tour guide will be available at the time of the APSA 2011 conference, along with historical maps of the surrounding traditional neighborhoods.
